OUR PLACE
To deliver our signature fresh and delicious food, we needed a site as incredible as our products. Our 330,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility is strategically located between Baltimore and Washington, DC to serve our multi-regional customer footprint. The East Coast Fresh magic happens on our high-tech production floor, complete with cutting-edge processing and manufacturing equipment. Our space is complete with produce-ripening rooms to ensure peak flavor, and import and repacking areas for fresh herbs and other commodities. Our distribution center, with over 60 dock doors and temperature-controlled zones, helps us uphold our commitment to the highest food safety standards.
OUR PEOPLE
Our team is our greatest asset, and we celebrate every member of our multi-cultural crew. We employ over 300 people from around the world and proudly display more than 60 flags, colorfully representing a diverse array of background in our facility.
Crew members who have been part of our family for over 15 years receive special recognition; their framed, personalized jerseys hang prominently in our ever-growing Hall of Fame.
In addition to working with an extraordinary team, our crew members enjoy many benefits at East Coast Fresh. Our onsite Wellness Center, managed by Johns Hopkins and staffed with a physician's assistant, is open to the entire team. We offer discounted gym memberships and theme park tickets, and every member is invited to a variety of safety and engagement events throughout the year. For our produce-loving crew members, our "Corner Store" is always stocked with a wide selection of our tastiest fruits and vegetables.
